"'Primizie' in Italian translates to the first vegetables or fruits harvested in a season. This philosophy is applied while creating all of our dishes; supporting our underlying Italian theme; whether they are personal takes on classic Italian or cuisines from around the globe. Primizie's offerings include Italian specialties with a stylish emphasis on simplicity."

From Urban Spoon:
"a couple of weeks ago, I decided to try their brunch along with my 2 son's, 12 and 19. My eldest and I ordered the Peach Blueberry Honey Mascarpone Crepes, my wife Panzanella Primizie, and my youngest son the Spaghetti Carbonara Italian Sausage Meatballs Pancetta. We also had the Sfingi, Italian doughnuts to start off with. The Sfingi were amazing, my youngest son said they were better than Cafe du Monde's beignets, which is saying something. The crepes were great, with the honey mascarpone just light enough not to weigh the crepes down and enough butter to cut the sweetness of the blueberries without being greasy. The salad was good with the fresh grilled peaches and the beans. The Carbonara was everyone's favorite. The sauce was perfect, with the cream and eggs making it rich and smooth. The Lemonade-Sangria, Bloody Mary, and Italian sodas were at the same level as the food. I suggest Primizie to anyone looking for a good relaxed Sunday brunch. It is obvious that they take well deserved pride in using local seasonal produce to create amazing food that I am sure you will love. "

Sorry it has taken me so long to send out a new brunch invitation! I have started going back to school, started a business (check it out http://www.littledogma.com/ ), and traveled to Italy. However, I am now greatly missing everything Italian so must take a trip to Mandola's!

Here's how it works. There isn't table service so go to the counter and order your food first. They'll give you a number. Then look for tables pushed together, me, and/or the Meetup tabletop sign. They'll bring the food to you.

Located at The Triangle.

I have always wanted to try this place for brunch. Saturday Brunch drink specials include $2.00 Mimosas or Peach Bellinis. The brunch is all you can eat for $13.99. One word of warning ... come hungry!

I have always wanted to try Juan in a Million. From what I have seen, it is a very popular place so we need to be prepared for a short wait. However, I'll try to get a table on the outside deck. According to Yelp, it gets 4 out of 5 stars. The parking isn't great, so I'd suggest getting there early. Juan in a Million has been serving Mexican food for over 25 years so they have to be doing something right! I encourage you to view their wide range of breakfast options at their menu: http://www.juaninamillion.com/menu.html

From Impact News:
"When eating at Opal Divine’s Marina, you get more than just great food — you get to do something good for the environment. The owners... want it to be the poster child for green business...All of the to-go packaging at Marina is biodegradable. The Bagasseware container is made out of leftover cane and plant fibers. The cups come from corn, and the plastic ware is 'SpudWare,' made of vegetable starch, soy and limestone."

From Yelp:
"I and a couple of friends went for Sunday brunch and had a great time with good food... The coffee is very good. I love the sage sausage - just enough of a bite there to remind you it's not an ordinary patty! All three of us had the Americamn Classic: two eggs any style, two patties or strips, your choice of bread: toast, english muffin, or one other, and fruit cup...I certainly can recommend the brunch here!"

At the suggestion of a member, we will try The Screaming Goat (I love the name).

Breakfast tacos are just $1.50 and breakfast burritos only $2.50.

From the Austin Chronicle:
"The homemade sign for the Screaming Goat promises tacos and cold beer at the end of the alley... Like the no-frills exterior, the decor at this new Downtown taco bar is understated, with small rooms spilling into other rooms, giving it a homey, coffeehouse feel."

From Urban Spoon"
"This place has awesome breakfasts. Very reasonable prices, as well. Food came very quickly and tasted great. "

Mimi's Cafe has a great selection of both brunch and lunch meals available. The food is billed as American cuisine with a European flair. Mimi's cafe is one of my favorite places to eat lunch. Personally, I love their Meatloaf Ciabatta and their Crispy Parmesan Crusted Chicken. They have a wide-variety of breakfast-type meals too from pancakes to waffles to omelets. Don't forget to try their muffins. Oh, and if it is not on the current menu, you might ask for the chocolate chip pancakes with bananas on top. It is terrific and by request now, if possible.
