Well this is another one suggested by my "assistant organizer" (well not officially but she's always helping!) the great JILL! Wow, this is a unique & wonderful looking menu! I was personally impressed by the not so brunchy item of watermelon gazpacho w/avocado foam!! Wowie!

Anyway, many many wonderful items!

To make up for the earlyness of MELT (which didn't open til 11:00 on Saturdays, anyway!), we will meet a little later at 11:30. I don't usually do 2 weekends in a row but have to get my other Sep. brunch in & can't do it the last weekend in Sep. Also, I originally scheduled Goodtime III on this weekend, & I said I was keeping the date, so I am.

Check out the site & RSVP fast! Hope to see lots of you there!

I enjoyed my meal and the conversations very much. There is nothing better than enjoying a meal with nice folks for two hours on a Sunday.
    •  Our waiter was extremely accomodating and patient. The décor was lovely as was the table setting. The menu is quite different and very interesting. However, the food preparation was somewhat spotty. Some of the eggs were rubbery and overdone and my lobster BLT was on challah toast that was overly toasted. But many of the dishes were well prepared and the orange juice was freshly squeezed and delicious.
    •  It was definitely good, BUT not as outstanding as I expected. My Avocado "foam" was "sherbet" & was just a spoon put in a fairly traditional gazpacho - the watermelon part of it was just added little chunks of watermelon which could barely be tasted. However, I did enjoy my Challah in the Hole. In general, however, the food was a little overcooked, the eggs were more boiled than poached & the toast was a bit overdone. The ORANGE JUICE, however, was a huge hit & everyone recommends ordering the LARGE! I would definitely go again & try it for lunch & dinner. The Service was very accomodating.
